Food lovers have an opportunity to enjoy an exclusive evening in the company of Michelin star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli on Saturday 22nd September. Alnwick Food Festival's

Northumberland food writer and author Jane Lovett is the event compere and will provide commentary and interaction between Jean-Christophe and guests. The Northumberland buffet
theme will reflect the county's finest produce and will be sourced from local suppliers.
The sumptuous evening buffet will be provided by Millers Catering, and the company has been awarded the prestigious task of working with the renowned Jean-Christophe for the
second year running. Last year Millers provided the catering for the exclusive Dine with Novelli evening and owner Julie Miller is delighted to be involved again.
"We're looking forward to being part of the festival as well as working with Jean-Christophe for the second consecutive occasion. The Northumberland buffet menu will be agreed
and finalised with Jean-Christophe and will reflect the immense diversity and quality of the region's finest food," she says.
Tickets for the evening are limited and go on sale this week at £30 each. The event starts with a drinks reception provided by Thistly Cross Cider. The informal format will
provide greater interaction and allow Jean-Christophe to demonstrate a wide range of culinary skills and answer guest questions.
Mr Novelli, dubbed "the nations favourite French chef" has placed several leading restaurants on the international map and during the course of his career has accumulated no
fewer than four Michelin Stars.
His passion for food cuisine and passing on his wealth of culinary knowledge to others resulted in the establishment of the Novelli Academy in 2005. Within three months of
opening, Jean-Christophe's establishment was voted amongst the "Top 25 Cookery Schools in the World."
The TV celebrity chef is excited about returning to the 2012 Alnwick Food Festival. "I'm delighted to be visiting Alnwick again and being involved in this fabulous event.
Northumberland is famous for producing a fantastic range of top quality local food produce and I'm looking forward to meeting visitors, local producers as well as suppliers
during my visit.
"The food festival is a well established event and attracted over 30,000 visitors last year and has become another huge attraction for the town. I'm excited to be part of the
festival activities again and by doing so, continue to help to further develop its immense reputation and profile," he said.
This year's event is once again sponsored by Northumbrian Water
